Surf culture is synonymous with both Hawaiian and Californian culture. Boardshorts and soft graphic tees fit right in as well; both of which showed up in the mail for me yesterday from the clothing brand, Lightning Bolt. Though beachwear doesn't dominate my personal style, it is something to be enjoyed by every guy come summer. Each pair of shorts came in unique colors, like lavender and mint green, hitting just above the knee for a modern look. Both the t-shirts were so soft, I threw one on immediately. I love t-shirts that are a little tighter with a stretch, and these definitely fit the criteria.
Also included were these headphones from Eskuche, and my ears are feeling a little spoiled. Drowning out all of the surrounding sound, the result is pure and crisp. I've never really thought about needing them, but now I look at my plain white earbuds and they just look so sad and pathetic. All perfect things to mark the ending of summer.
